How it works
- Floor plan — Draw the terrace freehand, pick a basic shape (rectangle, four L-forms, U/T/O-form, circle, free form) or import an existing floor plan as jpg, png or pdf. Add cut-outs, rounded corners and exact edge lengths.
- Decking boards — Choose the decking material, product line, colour and surface. Availability is filtered by country.
- Installation options — Set the laying pattern (whole, half, third or alternating bond), the direction (horizontal, vertical, 45°, 135° or a custom angle), the joint width and the starting point.
- Substructure — Pick joists and pedestals. Spans are derived from the selected board and the load class (200 kPa residential / 500 kPa commercial). Single or double sub-frame.
- Site conditions — Define the existing ground (hard surface such as paving or concrete, or soft surface such as sand), slope, height points, drainage and the intended load.
- Deck view — Review the result as a 2D plan and as an interactive 3D model.
- Accessories — Add clips, screws, framing and cladding boards, gutters, stairs and closed sides.
